About BAPI
A one-day exploration of how successful companies have extended their overall business models via effective API business strategy. Companies will share how they measure success and how they see their programs evolving. The elements of a successful developer program and where the business of APIs is heading will also be covered.
Who Attends BAPI?
In today’s mobile, social world, all companies are recognizing that they are publishers. They must utilize their content to support their business goals, whether those are revenue generation, customer relationship management or new customer acquisition. BAPI attendees are senior executives from companies that are in the process of or have recently adopted new, internet content distribution models. They turn to BAPI as the acknowledged world leader in presenting actionable information about how to use APIs and apps to support business imperatives. Not a technical conference, BAPI is the only event that fully explores the business side of APIs for a business audience. The 200+ attendees at BAPI are drawn from corporate development, business development, strategy, product development, publishing and other content and business management roles at major corporations.
Program
The BAPI program is an intense one-day review of best practices in API-driven business models. The heart of the day consists of real-world case studies presented by major companies who have successfully implemented API-driven programs. The program also looks at API trends and capabilities and takes a business-related dive inside the minds of developers and others who business leaders must work with to get modern content distribution programs deployed.
Speakers
BAPI speakers come from the leading edge of API and app deployment and represent both transformational technology companies and corporations who have successfully implemented modern distribution programs of their own. Last year’s speakers included:
